A comprehensive introduction to Anthropic’s Claude and its ecosystem. Whether your organization has adopted Claude or is evaluating it, this course gives your team the confidence to use it effectively. Covers the web interface, Projects, Artifacts, and the newer Cowork capabilities — giving you a complete picture of what Claude can do and how it fits into your workflow. This course serves as a gateway: students who want to go deeper can continue with AI for Business or one of our advisory tracks.
Lesson 1: AI Foundations & Claude Overview
A focused refresher on AI fundamentals, followed by a deep look at what makes Claude different: its approach to safety, extended thinking for complex reasoning, and its model family (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus). Includes a guided tour of the Claude interface — web search, citations, and Styles — plus an overview of plans and data handling so you can brief your team with confidence.
Lesson 2: Projects, Artifacts & Introducing Cowork
Learn to use Claude’s most powerful workspace features: Projects for organising context and instructions, and Artifacts for generating reusable documents and interactive tools. Then get your first look at Cowork — Claude’s desktop mode for working with local files, skills, and connectors. Two hands-on exercises: build a Project and create an Artifact.
Lesson 3: The Cowork Workflow & What’s Next
Go hands-on with the Cowork methodology: set up a context folder (five files that teach Claude your project), run the session workflow (Prime → Plan → Execute → Update), and use the project scaffold skill to automate the setup. You’ll leave with a working Cowork project for your own role.
